Decorating with tile is surprising every time. Many people don't realize how much you can actually do with shapes, design and texture when it comes to tile. Whether it be a bathroom floor, kitchen back splash or shower wall, tile is an art that can turn any space into pure genius.
A firm belief in the fact that new isn't necessarily better, and that a trash can become a treasure, is the foundation for Fireclay Tile's philosophy. Thanks to a little creativity, love of rummaging and neighborly conversation, Fireclay now manufactures all of its products using recycled materials. It all began 16 years ago when neighbors of Fireclay were in search of a way to dispose of a very fine dust particle that was created when making gravel. Not being one to let things go to waste, the team at Fireclay molded an original recycled clay body that is now the base for their tile creations. What stemmed out of that is now a gorgeous product that promotes recycling without sacrificing amazing quality.
The fact that everything is made locally in California doesn't hurt either.
I've always had a love for color as well as a good quality product that has a great story behind it. Fireclay founder Paul Burns shares that passion for color, as well as a hate for waste and inefficient processes. Because of this, there is no stock product at Fireclay. Every order is completely custom made, and that’s a philosophy I share as well.
Your space shouldn’t be a copy of someone else’s work; instead, make it an inspiration drawn from things that make you happy and relaxed. If you’re looking to add some color in the tile department, I know exactly where you should look.
