If you’re reading this it means you’ve explored the new website of Julianne Quelle Design. I’m so excited that it’s finally live and people can enjoy it as much as I have!
Creating a new website was a fun and enjoyable experience for me. It made me really think about what I want to convey to the world about what I do and who I am. In today’s tech-savvy world, a business’ website is the first (and possibly only) impression for potential clients and customers. With that being said, I wanted to quickly and easily portray the Julianne Quelle brand as simple, elegant and refined.
This new website all started with a dragonfly. As an interior designer, it is part of my job to transform the spaces I'm given. It's my favorite part and is the pure essence of Julianne Quelle Design. In honor of transformation, I decided to use the dragonfly for the brand logo.
I’ve always been attracted to the dragonfly and dragonfly etchings. As I started researching their meaning it became clear that they represent exactly what I do… transform rooms and how people live. Interior design is more than a new coat of paint or statement piece; it’s about visualizing and creating something brand new that wasn’t there before, yet always had the potential.
One of my favorite parts of designing the new website was working with my photographer and web designer, Kathryn MacDonald, and seeing my vision for the website come to life.
