I recently attended an interior design conference where I engaged with some of the most talented and authentic designers in the industry, including Vincente Wolf, an esteemed colleague with more than thirty years of design experience.
While chatting with Wolf, I learned more about the inspiration behind his work and his design process. An avid traveler, Vincente believes in using inspiration from around the world in his interior design. The opportunity to hear his stories and lessons conveyed in a way that was authentic was absolutely refreshing.
Having a passion for interior design involves taking risks, and as the conference concluded, Vincente in his presentation remarked that everyone in the room was “divinely touched.” This simple, yet poignant, sentiment left me with one of the most important lessons I had during the experience: to never underestimate the power of being authentic and transparent both in work and in life.
